One’s Walk towards the mountains City lights ~ piercing screams from behind pulling away - Waiting for silence In and outside the mind Searching for answers Seeking truth Shame through the process Trees ripped from their roots Unrelenting anguish Soothed with angry rage Circles in the mountains Documented on every page Just over the mountain’s top Down and beyond the forest’s trees Is said to be a path led by the stars Only few have seen Heads held down towards the ground Never yields a straight lined way To make it out of these mountains Keep your head up all the way
