Riverwalk revisited

Heaven in Columbia revisited  A little patch from four seasons past  Sitting by the sunflowers along side the rushing waters 🌊  We’ve got a while before the next trains 🚂 pass  The sunflowers 🌻 gave birth to a patch of zinnia  while we were away  Umbrellas at every table for shading hearts  Still bright and blue without any fade  Bumble bees 🐝 hard at tending the flowers 🌺  The hawk on the wire keeps them in line  River walk patrol  ~ protecting all souls  A newly posted map 🗺️ to guide one’s time When I thought nothing could make it better 👌 The clouds began to fade ☁️🌥️🌤️ A taco 🌮 truck pulled in and parked  Then a wobbly toddler smiled and waved 🧒  I

LMC

Out by Lake Murray in Chapin Inside a circle of forest trees, A quaint, quiet home sits nestled With 10,000 flowers, like a garden of dreams. Shades and shadows casting every second, Colors shift effortlessly, Along with wind and time. The smell of lilies and wildflowers, A sensory explosion to soothe the mind. A group of artists and friends, scattered, Painting and creating Here and there, Replicating beauty as they see, Frozen to canvas, Then ready to share. Wishing water fountain sounds, Soothing the ears as the day wears on, Nearing lunchtime and critique, And the conversation carries on.

Early spring 2026 ~ Plaine Airre with Alice 🌻

Ten minutes outside absorbing nature Instant calming peace in little time A simple walk restores the soul As it also heals the mind Maybe it’s breathing in the cool breezes… After they glide and sparkle across the lake What if it’s the birds all surrounding and singing? Enrapturing hearts with the sounds they make…… It’s where the water’s air is inhaled with ease Swarming inside the chests of all that breathe deep Wings flapping as they make a splash Canadian geese trumpet ~ ouch watch your feet

Comfort and Serenity with my Plaine Airre Pals Spring 2026

Comfort and Serenity Nestled and tucked deep downtown This old southern rooted gem stands tall Sherman’s flames knew not these grounds Historic landmarks, botanical gardens, God’s protective wall All of the living Plants, flowers, bush, grass, and tree International foliage To the senses, it’s blissful and sweet harmony The birds whistle and constantly call They pay no mind to the siren sounds at all The trees shade and block the sun They whisper at the wind “its too cold, now be gone” Tussling leaf sounds dampen the distant bustling streets Artists wield their hearts with a brush Five senses release and reset Old southern comfort – no rush

Nature ~ Nurture spring 2026

Nature ~ Nurture Today began before the sun came up The clouds rolled in to set the day Destination Wingard Point Yacht Club With the taste of rain on its way A grey gravel stoned road spotted with seashells All embedded in countless grains of sand Forest trees alive and eagerly swaying For rain to quench their lands A group of artists gathered under tin roof’s cover The rain taps marking their time Flash of lights, rolls of thunder, but They don’t pay the falling clouds any mind Mother nature’s waters Slowly feeding the cracks in the earth Painted skies and boats on water Nurturing souls hard at work Canvas captured images On a day like today A glimpse of what’s to come? Sunshine and clear-skied days
