The Overthought Dream

Do we ever really see,

Through the mist beneath the deep,

Or do we overlook reality,

So true our dreams can keep?

Spinning of the mind,

Thoughts of thought run deep,

Wishing to know the thought,

Of the keeper of this key.

Waiting for a move,

A glance, a smile, a gesture,

Every day seems the same,

No nothing, alone forever.

Feelings of regret,

Found lost, yet found again,

Arrows in every direction,

Yet the way is still the same.

I may want the dream,

To unite with my one

What if his moves are bewildering

Will Directions repel, what if I run?
