Morning Dream Mist

In the morning,

At the break of dawn,

Waking up to an empty room,

An empty bed,

Rekindling fragments of lost dreams,

Vanquished by thoughts of who he could be.

Yearning to just run away,

Gliding down an endless passage that would lead
to eternal ecstasy,

Happiness that would last forever,

Bound as one,

Without change,

Without time.

Indulging in the vast sweetness that exists
in mind’s abyssal crevices.

Locked out for those to see or not to see.

Waking up and realizing that the moment of happiness was just a figment,

Blurred by a satisfying imagination,

A moment worth dying for,

Oh to dream.
